Its a few weeks ago now since a text arrived from my sister saying Holly has passed away. Ok Holly was one of our dogs when i was at "Trotterbank". Chips sister in fact, the very dog my wife saved from an early doomed swimming career.
Yet suddenly its passing resulted in a simple text. At first i thought how insensitive of my sister. I tried telling Tricia about Holly and suddenly found i couldnt speak, ...................one of them "Lassie" film moments when something gets in your eyes.
I now understand why the news was passed on this way ,.......... its easy , easy to block out the emotion that we hate to share .
Anyway i sit here watching "cookie" and "crumble" our newest dogs begin there life, hopefully filled with what can only be described as "a dogs life"
