Speadsheets

yesterday was a long day .............................my battle to redo a spreadsheet begun in ernest , figures had to be changed .......... now i reckon i need a widescreen monitor so all the figures fit in the one screen , having battled with freeze window and finally mastered it later on in the day , i could sense it wasnt going to be easy .
For speed i decided to edit on pages and copy and paste it to the other worksheets that corresponded .................not a good idea suddenly newcastle figures were birminghams , glasgows were ayr , but luckily undo edit manage to work it s way thro the 20 odd inputs.
Colour was another tool i adopted , lets make each worksheet a separate colour . Good idea until you print in black and white , nonetheless a quick phone call soon ordered new colour printer.
Its like everything in this world if you do something often enough it becomes second nature , the problem is running your own business means i have to do a wide ranch of things but not very often ... so all to often the red tape of the world we live in cant be solved with a quick phone call it now requires endless forms of one code or another the latest being required CT41G by her majesty ..... now if it was a pink one then i might find it easier ..................................just a little idea
